Thuya occidental ‘Brandon’

Brandon arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis ‘Brandon’) is a distinctive and elegant conifer, prized for its narrow, dense, columnar to pyramidal form. Its persistent foliage is a bright medium green that holds its color well throughout the year, even in winter. Its branches are dense and extend upward from the ground, forming an attractive vertical column. It is often used as a screen, hedge, or standalone specimen in landscaping due to its compact form and narrow mature width, which makes it ideal for smaller spaces.

Soil type: ‘Brandon’ adapts to a wide range of soils but prefers well-drained, fresh to moist soils that are rich in organic matter. It tolerates clay, sandy, and loamy soils, and is also fairly tolerant of calcareous conditions.
