Thuja Occidentalis

White cedar is an evergreen conifer, typically conical or pyramidal in shape, dense and compact. Its foliage consists of small, flat, light green to dark green scales, which can take on a bronze or purplish hue in winter, especially during intense cold. It is often used for hedges, windbreaks, as a solitary specimen, or for naturalization.

Soil Type: Thuja occidentalis is highly adaptable but prefers well-drained, moist, and rich soils. It tolerates a wide range of pH. It can withstand clay soils if drainage is adequate, and can also tolerate slightly poor soils.
